This children’s picture book series would be a great suggestion for kids as it teaches them the importance of morals and values that they would be able to have throughout their lives. It gives them hope of becoming their own unique superhero by spreading positivity in everyday situations. The stories include situations that kids currently face throughout life & school. Kids are now able to gain a better understanding of morals and values, through our wonderful yet educational stories, paired with our activity sessions that is seen at the end of each story. With Timothy being the prime role model for kids in this series, it provides the knowledge and information for children to apply throughout their lives.

A wonderful and captivating story about overcoming diversity and embracing differences.

This is a story of a young boy named Max, who shows his peers that true friendship knows no color. Facing various obstacles such as bullying and isolation because of his skin color, Max finds courage and strength from the support of his best friends and the Warrior of Good Values to show the importance of accepting each other’s differences as well as creating great friendships along the way!

Christopher Gordon’s Friendship Has No Color is a thoughtprovoking and well-written story that will get children to realize the things which make us different make us better. I was taken aback by Jason’s attitude and his assumption of privilege and loved how the author used the Warrior of Good Values to help Jason realize that a person's looks have nothing to do with how they should be treated. The illustrations are bright and colorful and reinforce the plot of the story. Gordon also includes an activity page where young readers can discuss social issues and can color the characters introduced in the story. Friendship Has No Color: Timothy's Lessons In Good Values is most highly recommended.

The story is told in simple language so the young reader can learn to read along or read by themselves. The colorful illustrations help carry the story forward. At the end of the book are some exercises for the young reader to help them understand bullying, why it’s wrong and why it’s important to have the courage to stand up against bullies. “Don’t be ashamed or embarrassed. Always stand together against bullying.” A powerful message for both young and old because bullying doesn’t just affect young people. There are bullies everywhere, bullies and victims of all ages.
